We’re now looking ahead with excitement to the “Speaking with the Dead” symposium on 1-2 November at Exeter Cathedral and the Devon and Exeter Institution. On Monday, Naomi Howell and Philip Schwyzer from the Speaking with the Dead/ Past in its Place projects and Stuart MacWilliam from Exeter Cathedral Archives were featured in a BBC Spotlight segment on All Souls Day and the unique wax votives associated with the tomb of Bishop Edmund Lacy.
